Lake Rain Vajra

silkveiled angels
by Lake Rain Vajra

row, till, scythe, reap...

i strain to hearyour long strides,
here i wait, wait, listen,
as darkness crawls down the slopes towards me,
its shadows playing out your features,
there - your moonlit smile glows,
then the thin pale limbs dance,
& blackglossed claws tear into the dark
towards me...

one night we'll pass without eyes.
my lips clamped.

my fear of words, spoken, in the dark...
