I recently watched "Lady Jane" on YouTube (1986, Helena Bonham Carter), and I thought it was lovely how they portrayed Jane and Guildford as being so deeply in love. However, I have also read Alison Weir's "Innocent Traitor" (extremely good), which presents Guildford Dudley as arrogant, violent and an unloving husband. So which is more likely? Of course none of us were actually there (and it was an arranged marriage), but do any letters etc. give any evidence that they were in love? I hope they were, but I'm not sure how likely that is. I'm very excited about Tim Burton's upcoming film. Alice in Wonderland is one of my favorite movies, second to Mary Poppins. And Tim Burton is my favorite director of all times. According to IDBM there is some roles that are confirmed, such as Mia Wasikowska to play Alice, Johnny Depp as Madd Hatter, and Matt Lucas as Tweedledee and Tweedledum. Helena Bonham Carter is rumored to play the Red Queen and Anne Hathaway as the White Queen. Who else would you like to see? I would love to see all the above people, minus Anne Hathaway (I like her, she was wonderful in The Princess Diaries, I just can't see her in this film) as well as Timothy Spall as the White Rabbit or perhaps the Cheshire Cat. That part has already been confirmed though. I couldn't see Scarlett as Alice either. The person needs to be fairly young.

Tim Burton of course will be remaking Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland along with Johnny Depp (who also signed up for Pirates of the Caribbean Four!) as the Mad Hatter. But does Burton really have to place Helena in the frickin movie! She is his wife-to-be yes and the mother of two of his children but she wasn't really great in Sweeney Todd. Her performance was sorta fragile. Keira Knightley does not want to participate with her character of Elizabeth Swann.
