Why do you support the idea of homosexuality when the Bible clearly states that it is wrong? Not supporting it does not mean you're hating them, or not loving them. You are very capable of loving someone, even though they do things wrong, without supporting what they believe in.
Here's what the Bible says about homosexuality.
There are claims that the Bible does not really condemn homosexual behavior or that Jesus would not condemn this behavior. But let's look at what the Bible actually says.
The Bible contains 9 specific references to homosexuality: 4 in the Old Testament (Genesis 19:1-25; Judges 19:22-30; Leviticus 18:22; and Leviticus 20:13) and 5 in the New Testament (Romans 1:24-28; 1 Corinthians 6:9-10; 1 Timothy 1:8-11; 2 Peter 2:6-10; and Jude 7). The passage in Romans, in particular is so clear that it seems to have been written by St. Paul in anticipation that people might challenge the idea that homosexual behavior is wrong (in case you don't get it, let me make it perfectly clear!). In addition, there are numerous other passages that touch on this topic indirectly through comments on the biblical view of marriage and family, promiscuity, and sexual purity. Included in these references are Genesis 2:18-25; Proverbs 18:22; Mark 7:21, 1 Thessalonians 4:3-5; Romans 6:13, 13:13; 1 Corinthians 6:13, 18-19; Galatians 5:19-21; Colossians 3:5; Revelation 21:8, 22:15.
Homosexual behavior is always discussed in the Bible as a serious sin. It is often discussed in the context of idolatry. In that context it is listed among other particularly heinous sins as examples of how depraved one can become when idolatry is present. Idolatry is a most serious offense against God, and its seriousness helps explain why homosexual behavior was a capital offense in the Old Testament. Historical Christian interpretation has consistently viewed homosexual behavior as sinful. The modern word sodomy even comes from the biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah.
But it should be pointed out that what the Bible condemns is not personality traits such as feminine feelings on the part of a man (or masculine feelings on the part of a woman). It condemns the act of homosexual sex.
There are those who take some of the passages of Scripture above and attempt to show that they do not really mean to condemn homosexuality. But these arguments fall short, and upon investigation become an obvious ploy to distort the plain meaning of Scripture. As applies to other doctrines of the Bible, one must avoid trying to interpret Scripture in light of one's proclivities, and instead, interpret one's proclivities in light of Scripture. The Bible is the grid. It is wrong to overlay your own grid on the Bible.
Is the biblical view still valid?
One view, that the law in Leviticus was intended for the ancient Hebrews and does not apply today, must be considered. The Old Testament condemns as evil many things that are commonly accepted in the modern world (eating pork, etc.). It is helpful to understand the difference between CIVIL or CEREMONIAL LAWS versus MORAL LAWS in the Bible. While civil or ceremonial laws can and do change from country to country, moral laws do not change because they are rooted in the nature of man. The New Testament repealed various Old Testament ceremonial Jewish laws (Acts 10:12-15, Colossians 2:11-16, Romans 14:17). But, the Bible is consistent throughout on moral law, which includes homosexual behavior.
I asked for people that call themselves Christians to answer this question. I know very well what I think about homosexuality, and I know how homosexuals feel about it too.... I just want to know what goes through those "Christians'" heads
Apparently there are still people not understanding me.
I am far from perfect. I know that. - That's why I need a Savior. If we were perfect, then what'd be the point of Jesus dying on the cross?
Also... I'm not pointing this question toward homosexuals, I'm talking to those who call themselves Christians, yet support it, so I'm showing them what the Bible says about it.
Thirdly- I love the people. THOUGH I hate the sin. I don't think they're unworthy of forgiveness... they're just as worthy of forgiveness as I. We all have failed, and we all need a Savior. We're all broken.
I'm no better than they. But I don't agree with it. It's a choice, and they chose incorrectly, and just like I need Jesus, so do they. And I know it's possible. I'm going to continue to pray for them.
I already have: Jude Law & A Semester Abroad, Seventy Times 7, Sic Transit Gloria...Glory Fades, & Failure By Design - Brand New, but other than that I have nothing. I really like both of the bands, though, so I want to download some more. Help?

Please please plesae can you answer this question about business law i am confused???? ?
Advise David whether or not he has reached a legally binding contract with Jude at House of Style. can you please give me answers and some law acts and regulations
David is a young executive in the clothing industry and has been given a job as sales manager for Rocco Limited (‘Rocco’), a trendy new fashion house. Eager to impress his bosses, David is keen to secure new business for Rocco.
On Monday David visits ‘House of Style’ Department store and offers to supply them with the full range of ladies evening wear from Rocco’s new collection ‘Midnight’. Garments from the Midnight range will retail from £1,000 upwards. David knows that he needs to secure a deal to supply the garments for at least £500 per piece, however, desperate to make a sale and to establish a relationship with this large department store buyer, David offers to supply the first 100 pieces at just £350 per piece. He gives Jude, a buyer for House of Style, until mid-day on Wednesday to respond to his offer.
Feeling happy with the way the morning’s meeting went, David then visits a high street boutique called ‘Jewels’. He agrees with Oscar, the owner of Jewels, that he will supply Jewels with 20 garments from the Midnight range at £500 per piece, to be delivered the following Monday.
On returning to his office and checking Rocco’s sales targets, David no longer feels so sure of himself and regrets having offered to supply the House of Style with 100 pieces at the low price of just £350 per piece. He immediately tries to contact Jude by telephone to withdraw the offer but she has already left for the evening. He decides to withdraw the offer by letter at once, and he posts the withdrawal letter by first class post on Monday evening.
The following morning, Tuesday, Jude arrives at her desk and notices an unopened franked letter bearing the label ‘Rocco Limited’. Having mulled over the potential deal the previous evening, Jude has realised that it would be a huge coup to secure 100 garments from Rocco’s new range at just £350 per piece and she intends to accept the offer. She fears that the unopened letter from Rocco may be a retraction of the offer, and so she immediately dictates a letter of acceptance and asks her secretary to pop out and post it. Once satisfied that the letter of acceptance has been posted Jude opens the letter from Rocco to discover that it is indeed a letter withdrawing David’s original offer on behalf of Rocco.
Jude telephones David and informs him that she had already posted her letter of acceptance before she had opened her morning mail, and that as far as she is concerned they have a deal.
Angry at the situation David finds himself in, he immediately telephones Oscar at Jewels boutique, and informs him that Rocco will not be delivering the 20 garments at £500 each next Monday as promised. Instead he tells Oscar that if he still wants the garments, Oscar will now have to pay £900 per piece. Oscar is furious with this news. He has already taken 3 orders to sell dresses at £1500 per item from longstanding customers and felt sure that the range would be a big hit for Jewels and bring him large profits.

I am a film geek, and these three movies caught my eye
War Ties
a dramedy about a young man who goes off to Iraq to avoid his dysfunctional family after an outburst which resulted with him shoving his alcoholic father off deck 20 feet in the air, he gets his hand blown off, and when he returns he finds out his father has been diagnosed with cancer, his 17 year old sister is pregnant and his brother has come out as gay and he was only gone for 2 months.
It is directed by Cameron Crowe and it stars Shia Labeouf, Peter Sarsgaad, Charlize Thereon, Kristen Stewart and Orlando Bloom
Rebels With Guns (based off the Columbine events)
The tragic events that took place prior and during the haunting shootouts, its called Rebels with guns because, Rebels was the Columbine mascot, it is being distrbuted by 20th Century Fox, thats the only setback, i hate the movies they put out, but this one looks good
starring William Hurt, Patrick Fugit and Emile Hirsch
it is being directed by Gus Van Sant
and the last one i am dying to see is
The Green River Killer
based on the grisly muders that took place during a 20 year span.
directed by Sam Mendes
and is stars Olga Kurylenko, Jude Law, Tom Hanks (they re-unite since their last work with Medes, which was Road To Perdition) Jaime Bell and Jeremy Sumpter
i watched a film a while back on tv it was about golf and had a pretty good cast, but i cant find it anywhere!

The question says it all. I'm just planning to marry her... *sighs* I've heard she's dating Bryan Ferry and Jude Law, so could you tell me who else she's been linked to, please?
All these other guys like Matt Damon, Ben Affleck, Johnny Depp, Brad Pitt, Hugh Jackman, George Clooney, Patrick Swayze, Jude Law etc. They're alright, but the real sexiness lies within The Rock, Boris Kodjoe, and LL Cool J.
What happened to the good old days when guys look like guys and gals look like gals?
nowadays girls call sissy guys like the fallout "boys" or Jonas brothers "hot". though i hear women say they want guys like brat pitts, matt demon jude law, etc. that are completely opposite of them, what gives?
even will don't dress like that on will & grace.
The Bible’s Viewpoint
Does God Approve of Same-Sex Marriage?
DURING the church ceremony, the two men stand hand in hand before a renowned Episcopal bishop. They make a “covenant . . . before God and the church.” Clothed in ornate gold-and-white vestments, the bishop publicly blesses their union. Afterward the couple hug and kiss and are given a standing ovation. According to this bishop, such homosexual relationships “are holy and deserve to be blessed, . . . deserve to be called what they are: sacred.”
However, other religious leaders voice strong opposition to same-sex unions. “We are so disturbed by this [bishop’s] decision,” stated Cynthia Brust, spokesperson for the American Anglican Council, a group of conservative Episcopalians. “Same-sex blessings contradict the clear teaching on marriage and sexuality from the Bible,” she said, adding that “sexuality . . . is to be confined to a man and woman in holy matrimony.”
The fire storm of controversy over this issue is not restricted to religion. Internationally, heated political debates are raging, since the social, political, and economic implications involving pensions, joint health care, and taxes are great.
Issues involving civil rights and legal recognition are often very complicated and divide public opinion. True Christians are careful to maintain neutrality by avoiding political debates. (John 17:16)* Still, some who respect the Bible find themselves confused regarding the subject of same-sex marriage and homosexuality. How do you view same-sex marriage? What is God’s standard for marriage? What impact does your attitude have on your relationship with God?
Our Creator Sets the Standard--
Our Creator established rules governing marriage long before governments began regulating the institution. The opening book of the Bible tells us: “A man will leave his father and his mother and he must stick to his wife and they must become one flesh.” (Genesis 2:24) The Hebrew word “wife,” according to Vine’s Expository Dictionary of Biblical Words, “connotes one who is a female human being.” Jesus confirmed that those yoked together in marriage should be “male and female.”—Matthew 19:4.
Thus, God intended marriage to be a permanent and an intimate bond between a man and a woman. Men and women are designed to complement each other so they may be capable of satisfying each other’s emotional, spiritual, and sexual needs and desires.
The well-known Biblical account of Sodom and Gomorrah reveals God’s feelings about homosexuality. God declared: “The cry of complaint about Sodom and Gomorrah, yes, it is loud, and their sin, yes, it is very heavy.” (Genesis 18:20) The extent of their sinful depravity at that time was apparent when two guests visited the righteous man Lot. “The men of Sodom . . . surrounded the house, from boy to old man, all the people in one mob. And they kept calling out to Lot and saying to him: ‘Where are the men who came in to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may have intercourse with them.’” (Genesis 19:4, 5) The Bible says: “The men of Sodom were bad and were gross sinners against Jehovah.”—Genesis 13:13.
The men became “violently inflamed in their lust toward one another, males with males.” (Romans 1:27) They had “gone out after flesh for unnatural use.” (Jude 7) In countries where homosexual rights campaigns are pervasive, some may object to using the word “unnatural” to describe homosexual behavior. However, is not God the final arbiter when it comes to nature? He commanded his ancient people: “You must not lie down with a male the same as you lie down with a woman. It is a detestable thing.”— Leviticus 18:22.
Your Accountability to God--
The Bible is clear: God does not approve of or condone homosexual practices. He also disapproves of people who “consent with those practicing them.” (Romans 1:32) And “marriage” cannot give homosexuality a cloak of respectability. God’s direction that “marriage be honorable among all” precludes homosexual unions, which he considers detestable.—Hebrews 13:4.
Still, with God’s help, anyone can learn to “abstain from fornication,” which includes homosexual acts, and “get possession of his own vessel in sanctification and honor.”(1 Thessalonians 4:3, 4) Admittedly, this is not always easy. Nathan#, who formerly pursued a homosexual life-style, said: “I thought I could never stop.” But he did change with help from “the spirit of our God.”(1 Corinthians 6:11) As Nathan discovered, no problem is too big for Jehovah, who can provide the strength and help needed to meet His standards and receive His blessings.—Psalm 46:1.

I was watching the film "The Holiday" & I thought about how Amanda was telling Jude Law's character how she couldn't cry... For me, I am a very emotional & sensitive person...I honestly think more w/ my head than my heart (but that is slowly changing)...it is not difficult for me to cry at all. I cried in this movie & at Mother's Day/Hallmark card commercials...
Why do others find it difficult to show emotion or cry?
Question for men:
1) Miley Cyrus or Meg Ryan? (you have to pick!)
2) Elizabeth Hurley or Natalie Portman?
3) Adriana Lima or Shakira?
4) Rose O'Donnell or Barbara Walters? (you have to pick!)
5) Which celeb would you most like to kiss?
Question for women:
1) Woody Allen or Marilyn Manson? (you have to pick!)
2) Clive Owen or Matt Damon?
3) Johnny Depp or Jude Law?
4) Donald Trump or Richard Simmons? (you have to pick!)
5) Which celeb would you most like to kiss?
1) A very good looking mailman/mailwoman with great physique Or a average looking man/woman who is veterinarian/doctor/zoologist/biologist?
2) Someone you love who does not feel the same Or someone you don't love but who loves you?
3) Someone who has a short fuse OR someone who dropped out of highschool?
4) Men, would you rather marry Natalie Portman or Julia Roberts? Women, would you rather marry Gerard Butler or Jude Law?
5) Would you rather marry someone easygoing but who spoke another language OR someone who argued with you all the time?
1Corinthians 13:13
And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three;
but the greatest of these [is] charity (never fails).
1. Faith... great
2. Hope... greater
3. Charity... greatest
Colossians 2:2 (Triple mystery)
That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
1. Mystery of God
2. Mystery of the Father
3. Mystery of Christ
1Thessalonians 4:16
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God
1. a shout (1st mention is noise of war in Exodus 32:17)
2. voice of the archangel (voice of trumpet; Michael in Jude 1:9)
3. trump of God (?)
If the "last trump" isn't the same as the first trump,
could we be talking about law: 1st trump, grace: last trump.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

For film studies. I need to get as much info on 2 actors and 2 actresses whose work I admire, and a part of the work is to find out what list these people are on. e.g. a list, b list etc.
Any suggestions would really help
This homework is so I can learn about the old hollywood system of film, when actors were contracted to certain production companies such as MGM, Paramount etc.
Did he get his 4 children? Is he with any other woman?

I consider the film Closer an example of this. The film, a relationship drama based on a play, is very character and dialogue-based and has four main characters. I thought Julia Roberts, Jude Law, Natalie Portman, and Clive Owen gave terrific performances -- so much emotion and depth. Portman and Owen were especially great. Their scene together in the strip bar is brilliant. Excellent movie.
What's a movie you feel has three or more outstanding, memorable performances?
am 25 and have always been quite goodlooking, polite, shy / nervous but friendly kinda guy. Never had loads of girlfriends and was quite a reserved guy..
anyway i was always happy how i looked and still am for the most part, something is bugging me though, although caulm best and jason statham pull it off, im going the receding way like those two, nothing major but it is definitely not the moip of dark spikey hair i have always had and am used to
the thing is i have a good personality, nice face, good figure (most men would want!)
but still have a hang up over this haitr thing, mainly as i see people like rooney and jude law slaughtered for it......but its out of their control is it not????

Example: "The Holiday" movie, half the movie is set in England, with lead Kate Winslet and Jude Law with good quantity of British accent.

I guess they haven't heard that
God saw only good x7 in Genesis 1,
not both good and evil as law does,
and law both blesses and curses,
also both saves and destroys,
which notably ends badly.
Law Eg: blessed + cursed = accursed (Gal 1:8,9)
Law Eg: saved + destroyed = dead (Heb 7:23; Jude 5)
Not to mention the day of the Law is darkness, not light (Amos 5),
and the day of the Law precedes 1Thessalonians 5:3's no escape.
The GRACE of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.

Eg: Galatians 1:8,9
Blessed(Graced) + Cursed(Lawed) = Accursed
Eg: Jude 1:5
Saved(Graced) + Destroyed(Lawed) = Dead End
Eg of temporary salvation: Exodus... Jude 1:5
These all got both saved + destroyed after... Oops.
Noah had temp salvation, later died & rec'd not the promise;
which got him inducted into the hall of shame in Hebrews 11,
which concludes God hath provided some better thing for us.
So, is Noahic grace + law the same as JC grace + truth?
Why is Eternal Salvation notably "through Jesus-->Christ"?
Why is reconciling the world to God done "in Christ" of J-->C?
Does "save some" scuttle "all perish" till we get to none perish?
Why does the end written clarify what sort of grace is with you all?
Eg: The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ [be/is] with you all. Amen.
Galatians 3:12
the law is not of faith
Hebrews 11:6
But without faith [it is] impossible to please [him]:
for he that cometh to God must believe that he is,
and [that] he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.
James 2:20
But wilt thou know, O vain man,
that faith without works is dead?
James 2:26
For as the body without the spirit is dead,
so faith without works is dead also.
Paul, Peter, Jude
By his grace, mercy and peace are multiplied
Revelation 22:21 (The End)
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ with you all. Amen.
So does the allegory for "faith without works is dead"
mean grace without mercy and peace is law (dead),
if the law is all vanity and vexation of Spirit (Grace),
and the legalists are vain people who know not that
grace is suffcient means no law at all is required?
Galatians 3:
the evidence makes it "evident" that
no man is justified by law in God's sight
Galatians 5:4
if justified by law, then Christ is of no effect to you
1Thessalonians 5:3 (no escape)
when they say Peace and safety (in law worketh wrath)... KAPOW
Hebrews 7:23
not suffered to continue by reason of death
Jude 1:5 (result of grace + law)
saved + destroyed after

Can anyone find me the FULL passage of what Iris says right at the start where shes talking about love, and her being in love with Jasper?
I want to use it for something :)
Thank youu!
It seems law multiplies corruption, crime, criminals, fear, confusion.
It seems the grace us fruit of the Spirit multiplies mercy and peace.
Matthew 12: concerning fruit of lips
either it's good fruit or it's corrupt fruit
1Cor 15: law is root of corruption & mortality;
the strength of law imputed sin's death sting
Galatians 3:
no man is justified by the law in the sight of God
the law is not of faith
Galatians 4: allegory of what the script-u-are saith:
Cast out the law and the result of law: sin and death
Galatians 5: fruit of the Spirit(Grace)
against such there is no law
Converted Peter
Grace unto you, and peace, be multiplied
Jude
Mercy unto you, and peace, and love, be multiplied
So then, why are ppl still trying to multiply law(death)?
Perhaps the body of Christ is what finishes what the head of the body authored: eternal life via eternal salvation via grace void of law.
When it comes to faith, no question Jesus is both the author and finisher of it; But when it comes to eternal salvation, Christ is only the author of such, and notably not the finisher of it in Hebrews 5. So Hebrews 6 says go on, not stop at temporal salvation, for temporal salvation is described in Jude 1:5 as saved + destroyed after. hell-o?
Is it like adding corruption to incorruptible?
Is it like adding mortality to immortal?
Is it like adding cursed to blessed?
Is it like adding dis to approved?
Is it like adding im to perfect?
Is it like adding dis to ease?
Is it like adding un to just?
How does good + evil end?
How does grace + law end in Galatians 1:8?
How does grace + law end in Hebrews 7:23?
How does grace + law end in 2Peter 3:6?
How does grace + law end in Jude 1:5?
It seems law multiplies corruption, crime, criminals, fear, confusion.
It seems the grace us fruit of the Spirit multiplies mercy and peace.
